mat for clay work

Hey Everyone...I recently bought a work mat that is an Alvin..its great with rulers and all....But the darn finish comes off o my clay. I know I saw some form of mat during one of the videos. Does anyone have any sugestions of what would work better?

Hey there! I use two kinds- one is a teflon mat, you can get them from Ranger Products. The other is a simple silicone baking mat I got at the craft store in the baking aisle- its for making cookies. Both are great, flexible, and they won't give you the problem you're having.
